11/20/2023 0 Comments Artisan zero vs hien![]() Theres initial friction, dynamic friction, stopping power, differences in x- and y-axis, differences if you turn the pad 180 degrees and so on. Pads also are not just "faster and slower" if you get into the high tier market. ![]() Also if you test lots and lots of pads you really get a feeling for the differences, it is "just a mousepad" in the end and the hien, allthough beeing on the speedy side, is still not among the fastest mousepads by a long shot. That might be your perception on speed, but it also has something to do with the mouse and mouseskates you use. If you press from the bottom directly onto the base, there should be no differnce in softness tho, i have multiple different artisans in xsoft, soft and mid here and i can pretty much instantly tell which soft it has if i touch the base. Yes due to the harder hybrid surface of the Hien and the Zero being a clothpad which has a more malleable surface (if that makes any sense?) soft will feel different on the respective pads, even noticably if you press down from the top.
